That boy has ups! (Nope.)

Here it is.

I love basketball. I play in a 35+ pick-up league once a week and I would consider myself an average player, at best. I know the fundamentals well, but I miss often, but..I love the sport.

My lifetime goal was to dunk a basketball.

I’m 39 years old, 6’2″ , and approx. 194 lbs. and I can currently almost run and touch the rim. By almost..I mean like 33% of the time. Most of the time..my fingers get caught in the top of the net.

Now however..I am trying to reach my goal of being able to dunk a basketball by the time I turn 40.

It won’t be easy.

My life is hectic.

I have 3 beautiful young daughter (8, 6, and just about 3) and I work crazy hours staring at a computer screen as a Creative Director of a mobile advertising startup.

Also..my age, my years of lack of fitness, and gravity..are all against me.

So..this blog is to serve one purpose..document my journey to dunk a basketball on an official 10ft. rim.

It will take work and a ton of effort to make this happen. I hope this works.
